  6. Garnish with Corriander and thinly sliced red onions, Serve with rice or fresh Rotis👌.

Make some plain basmati rice to go with it and you're done. For the Mauritian Curry Powder, remove and discard the seeds and stalks from the dried chillies. Add remaining tablespoon of grated garlic and ginger along with Mauritian Curry Powder. Squeeze in the lemon juice and put the cinnamon stick and curry leaves into the pan. Mix the curry powder with a splash of water in a bowl to make a runny paste.
